One of his two fifties came against the West Indies at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown in 2023, in which the right-hander put together 83 runs in 54 balls, including 10 fours and four maximums, helping India chase down a target in excess of 160 with ease.

Suresh Raina is the highest T20I run-scorer for India in the West Indies, notching up 221 runs in six matches with an average of 36.83 and a strike-rate of 141.66, including a fifty and a hundred. During the T20 World Cup 2010, at the Daren Sammy International Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, the left-handed batter brought up the first-ever T20I hundred for an Indian player, taking down the challenge of the South African bowlers in a clinical manner.
