The Boston Celtics finally ended their 16-year championship drought as they defeated Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving’s Dallas Mavericks 4-1 in the 2024 NBA Finals. With this victory on Monday, the Celtics surpassed the Los Angeles Lakers to win the record 18 titles in NBA history. However, the fans termed the Celtics-Mavericks final as the “worst NBA Finals” on social media.

Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown was named the 2024 NBA Finals MVP as he averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. On the other hand, Jayson Tatum averaged, 22.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1 steal per game.
