USA fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar once again proved his worth by picking up figures of 2-21 in four overs against South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024’s Super 8 stage. Playing at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, the Americans opted to bowl first and were going for runs all around the park.
But giving the USA their first breakthrough, Netravalkar dismissed opener Reeza Hendricks after his run-a-ball 11. The South Africans rebuilt with Aiden Markram and Quintin de Kock before losing two quick wickets. Further imposing more pressure on the Proteas, Saurabh Netravalkar dismissed the South African captain Aiden Markram, who had scored 46 in 32 balls.
