Indian captain Rohit Sharma continued his struggles against left-arm spin as he was dismissed by Afghanistan’s Fazalhaq Farooqi in the Super 8s clash of the T20 World Cup 2024. After winning the toss at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, Team India had a shaky start with both Rohit and Virat Kohli struggling to get going on a tricky wicket when the Hitman attempted to slog Farooqi.
But the Indian captain couldn’t get his timing as the ball looped up and went straight into the hands of Rashid Khan. Reacting to this dismissal, fans on social media trolled Rohit Sharma for his struggles against left-arm pacers. Many pointed out that the Hitman has had 8 dismissals in 19 innings during the powerplay in 2024.
