Fortnite fans are set to experience the latest mode of the game, the Reload mode that will bring a new map along with some of the most iconic features. With the Reload mode in Fortnite, fans would get to enhance their gameplay experience with features like iconic OG map locations and weapons as well as a new way to keep themselves in the fight. The new mode is expected to go live after the first Metallica concert and will be made available for everyone.
As mentioned, the Reload mode features several exciting and iconic features, one of which includes the back-to-back respawns like a deathmatch that would allow players to return and support their team in the firefight. In the game mode, it is the regular battle royale mode that would feature both classic and zero-build mode with the latest squad standing as the winner. The game will only feature 40 players or 10 teams as the respawn functionality can extend the game beyond hours.
Not only this, but it would also come with certain rules including that players would be able to revive unless there is another player in their team. If the last player on the team dies before any one of the three revives, the team would get eliminated. A few other points that players would need to keep in mind about the Reload mode are:
- Player reboots start 30 seconds after the death and increase to 40 seconds in the endgame.
- Reboot time can be reduced either by drowning or defeating opponents.
- Drowned players will be allowed to give up a start reboot timer instead of waiting for a revive.
- The reboots will get disabled in the endgame.
Apart from some new locations, the developers have also come up with some new weapons including:
- Revolver
- Tactical Shotgun
- Lever Action Shotgun
- OG Heavy Shotgun
- Tactical Submachine Gun
- Infantry Rifle
- Heavy Assault Rifle
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Rocket Launcher
- Grappler
Players will get rewards like Digital Dogfight Contrail, Pool Cubes Wrap, and NaNa Bath Back Bling as well as 20,000 XP. In addition to it, the new mode will also reward with The Rezzbrella Glider.
