One of the best innings for the right-handed batter came in the semifinal of the 2007 edition, where he scored a quick-fire 30 against Australia, to propel the Indian cricket team beyond 180 runs, a total which they defended successfully.
Virat Kohli (288 runs in 4 innings)
Virat Kohli has been one of the best performers in the knockout stage of the T20 World Cups, scoring a whopping 288 runs in just four innings at an average of 144 and a strike rate of 152.38. The only win for the right-handed batter in the knockout stage of the T20 World Cup came in 2014 when he scored an unbeaten 72 off 44, including five fours and two sixes against South Africa, helping India chase down a 172-run target in the semifinal.
