Hardik Pandya, the vice-captain of India, played a major role for the national team in winning the T20 World Cup last month. Following a return home to India from a tour of the Americas, the 30-year-old held son Agastya in his hands after a long time, sharing the pictures and video of the moment on his official Instagram account, but his wife Natasa Stankovic was missing from the celebration.
Notably, India won the T20 World Cup at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, after defeating South Africa in a thrilling final by six runs on June 29. Hardik Pandya was in the thick of things in the last over, defending 16 runs successfully against the likes of David Miller, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Anrich Nortje.
In the aftermath of a fantastic T20 World Cup campaign, Hardik Pandya became the new number-one all-rounder in the ICC Men’s T20I All-rounder Rankings.
Following the big win, Natasa Stankovic didn’t post any congratulatory message for Hardik Pandya or the Indian cricket team, fueling speculation about the potential divorce between the couple. In the last couple of months, social media has been filled with rumours about a split between Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic, but they have refrained from officially commenting on their relationship status.
As per the Economic Times, Natasa Stankovic took to her official Instagram account, to post a video in the stories. She held a Bible and shared a message, “I got super excited to read something that I really needed to hear today. It is the Lord who goes before you and he will be with you, he will never leave you nor forsake you; do not fear or be dismayed, discouraged, disappointed, sad, and often lost. God is with you. He is not surprised at what you’re going through right now because he already has a plan. He will never leave you or forsake you.”
