The highly anticipated season 2 of the unique gaming talent competition, College Rivals was launched by Ampverse DMI. The Season 2 comes with a nationwide initiative which aims at gaming and entertainment audience as well as esports fans. The challenge, which also goes by Rivalry Reloaded, initially brought offline esports competitions across colleges, aimed to expand engagement across states. The second season includes as many as 50 colleges across 22 cities in India.
Apart from this, any college student in India can register for the show from their website at 5 pm. A Gaming Truck tour will take place from July 15, providing a chance to college students to become ambassadors and exclusive merchandise while taking part in innovative game projects. The event will last eight months and players would participate in games such as Valorant, BGMI and EA FC 24.
The top competitors from each monthly qualifier will then advance to the grand finale, where they will compete for a prize pool of INR 50 Lakh. Notably, the College Rivals Season 1 saw more than 105 million views tuning in with more than 20 live streams and 80 broadcast hours across 11 gaming and esports channels. The first season of the competition had witnessed more than 1,00,000 students participating from across the nation.
