On Sunday, July 7, the official teaser of the Brad Pitt and Damson Idris starrer “F1” titled movie got released. F1 is directed by Joseph Kosinski, whose “Top Gun: Maverick” had a $1.49 billion collection worldwide, and its tentative release date in theatres and in IMAX internationally is June 25, 2025, while in North America, it is June 27, 2025.
The plot of F1 revolves around the driver Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, who makes his way back into the sport to team up with a rookie Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, at a fictional APXGP Team. The filming of the F1 happened at real F1 tracks, including the Spa-Francorchamps and the Silverstone, among others.
The F1 movie official teaser was released on the international feed ahead of the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, giving the fans the first glimpse of what to expect from the next year’s release. Sunday’s race was enthralling to say the least, which saw the home hero Lewis Hamilton take the chequered flag ahead of the reigning multi-time world champion Max Verstappen, while Lando Norris finished in third place.
Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo are also starring in F1. The producer of the movie is Jerry Bruckheimer, while the likes of Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, among others, are co-producers as well.
