What is the Impact Player rule?

The Impact Player rule is only active on weekend matches during League Week. The IGLs of each team will randomly draw an impact player from their team. That player will get two points for each finish.

Many people might be familiar with the term “Impact Player,” introduced in the last two editions of the IPL, which allows teams to play more fearlessly. Nodwin Gaming also keeps introducing various rules of cricket, like Powerplay or Impact Player in BGMS, to add more thrill to matches.

Day 1 witnessed lots of initial fights due to the Powerplay rule. The Impact Player rule will add more thrill to it as an impact player can earn four points for one finish, if he takes the first zone fights.

Team 8Bit showcased some dominating performances on the first day, securing 35 points. Revenant Esports were consistent in both matches and secured the second spot, followed by Orangutan Gaming with 23 points in third place.

Teams like Reckoning Gaming, Gladiator Esports, Team Zero, and Godlike Esports need to step up, as they have only a few matches left to qualify for the next round. If they don’t perform well, they’ll have to rely on audience votes to advance.
