The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024 kicks off on Tuesday, August 20th, featuring 128 invited teams competing for a massive INR 2 Crore prize pool. Global Esports, the runner-up of BGIS 2024, boasts some of the strongest firepower in BGMI, featuring players like Mavi, Beast, Ninjaboi, Arclyn, and Slug. The team also performed well in the recently concluded BGMS Season 3.
Team 8Bit
Team 8Bit is home to experienced players such as Mac, Juicy, Mighty, and Aditya. They finished seventh in BGIS 2024 and secured sixth place in the previous edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series.
Vasista Esports
Led by Shadow, the newly formed Vasista Esports’ roster includes destructive players like Apollo, Secret, and Wixxyy. One more prominent assaulter, Drigger has also joined the team.
Gods Reign
Gods Reign features a young lineup with ALTU, FurY, PHANTOM, Redox, and Venom, making it one of the strongest young teams in BGMI. They finished sixth in the recently concluded BGMI Masters Series Season 3.
Medal Esports
Medal Esports is an experienced lineup in BGMI, featuring players like Encore, Paradox, Sayyam, Zeno, InfinityOP, SahilOPAF, and Topdawg. They finished sixth in BGIS 2023.

Round 1 (20 August to 5 September 2024)
128 invited teams are split into two groups: RED and BLUE, with each set having four smaller groups of 16 teams. Each group will play six matches weekly. After the initial matches, the teams will be reshuffled within the RED and BLUE sets, forming new groups, which will again play six matches per week. The top 64 teams based on overall standings will advance to Round 2.
Round 2 (7 to 10 September 2024)
The 64 teams from Round 1 are divided into four groups of 16 teams. Each team will play six matches, and the top 48 teams based on overall standings will move on to Round 3.
Round 3 (11 to 14 September 2024)
The 48 teams that will qualify from Round 2, will be split into three groups of 16 teams. Each team will play four matches across two days. After these matches, the teams are reshuffled into new groups, playing another four matches over two days. The top 24 teams based on overall standings will qualify for the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals (15 September to 18 September 2024)
The 24 teams from Round 3 will be divided into three groups of eight teams each. They will play four rounds of double round-robin matches, totaling to 24 matches. Each team will play four matches per day, for a total of 16 matches. The top 16 teams based on overall standings will advance to the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals (27 to 29 September 2024)
Scheduled to be played over three days, 18 matches will be played during the Grand Finals. The team with the highest overall standings after these matches will be crowned the champion of BMPS 2024.
