Meg Lanning has been the most successful captain of the Australia women’s cricket team who led Australia Women to four T20 World Cups (2014, 2018, 2020 and 2023) and one ODI World Cup (2022) title in her captaincy. She was also among the best fielders, taking 12 catches in 35 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup.

8. Katherine Sciver-Brunt – 12 catches

England’s Katherine Sciver-Brunt is the eighth player in the list to take most catches in the Women’s T20 World Cup. She has been among the best fielders in women’s cricket and has taken 12 catches from 25 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup. 

7. Harmanpreet Kaur – 14 catches

Harmanpreet Kaur is the captain of India Women and the seventh player in the list to take most catches in the Women’s T20 World Cup. She has a great record as India’s T20I captain, leading the side to the final of the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup and the 2022 Commonwealth Games along with the semi-final of the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup. As a fielder, Harmanpreet has taken 14 catches from 35 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup.

6. Sophie Devine – 14 catches

Sophie Devine has been among the best fielders to play for New Zealand. She is also among the top wicket-takers and sixth player in the list to take most catches in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Devine has taken 14 catches from the 32 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup.

Nat-Sciver Brunt is an all-rounder from the England women’s cricket team. She is also among the best fielders in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Nat-Sciver has taken 14 catches from 25 matches she played in the Women’s T20 World Cup. 

4. Lydia Sophie Greenway – 14 catches

New Zealand all-rounder Suzie Bates has taken most number of catches among any player in the Women’s T20 World Cup. She has been among the leading run-scorers in a season many times. Bates has taken 19 catches in 36 matches of her Women’s T20 World Cup career.
