Dheela nahi hona: Rishabh Pant motivates teammates behind the stumps during Day 1 of Pune Test

India aren’t having a great time with the ball during day 1 of the second Test against New Zealand at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. However, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant kept motivating his teammates with his one liners that were caught on stump mic. After opting to bat first, New Zealand were having short but crucial partnerships in Pune Test. However, the visitors have also lost three wickets so far. 

During the second session of day 1 of the Pune Test, Rishabh Pant was caught saying “Chalo chalo dheela nahi hona, body language uthana padega bhaiyo (c’mon, we need to up the body language)”. Pant always makes headlines with his commentary behind the stumps which is loved by the Indian cricket fans. 

Devon Conway get out for 76, R. Ashwin scalp 3 wickets

New Zealand have lost three wickets so far on day 1 of the ongoing second Test in Pune. After opting to bat first, New Zealand lost two wickets by the end of the first session. However, Devon Conway kept one end and went on to score his second half-century in the ongoing series. The right-hander got out after scoring 76 runs off 141 balls hitting 11 boundaries. 

For India, Ravinchandran Ashwin has taken all three wickets of the day so far. The off-spinner sent skipper Tom Latham, Will Young and Devon Conway back to the pavilion. Currently, Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell are taking the innings further for New Zealand on day 1.
