West Indian fast bowler Kemar Roach has been ruled out of the Men in Maroon’s upcoming tour to E ngland. Roach picked up a knee injury while playing for Surrey in the County Championship. The 36-year-old has been an integral part of the West Indian Test set-up and has taken 270 wickets in 81 Tests.
In the 2024 season, Roach claimed 18 wickets at 25.77 in six appearances this season for Surrey. The Barbadian speedster will be replaced by Jeremiah Louis, an uncapped fast bowler from St Kitts and Nevis. Alongside Louis, Cricket West Indies confirmed that 19-year-old fast bowler, Isaih Thorne from Guyana, would join the squad as a development player.
