Batting first, India Champions made a mammoth 254 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their quota of 20 overs. The likes of Robin Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan smashed half-centuries to get India to a commendable score. However, the innings that stood out was of Irfan Pathan who mostly dealt in boundaries.
In mere 18 balls, Irfan Pathan smashed his half century, which also became the fastest half century in the tournament. His elder brother, Yusuf Pathan also smashed half century. It will be interesting to see if India Champions are able to defend the score against mighty Australians, who finished top on the points table.
