Has all the tools: Jaylen Brown responds to his alleged ‘don’t think Bronny is a pro’ comments

NBA Finals MVP and Boston Celtics star  Jaylen Brown responded after his alleged comments on Los Angeles Lakers’  Br onny James, son of NBA legend LeBron James went viral on social media. The USC alumnus has faced criticism since being drafted by the team his father plays for. The critics haven’t held back since as James has struggled on the scoring front during his stint in the NBA Summer League.

Continuing to play for the Lakers in the NBA’s pre-season tournament, Bronny James was in action as the Purple and Gold took on arch-rivals Boston Celtics. In attendance for the game, Jaylen  Brown was sitting courtside with his girlfriend, Kysre Gondrezick, and WNBA rookie sensation Angel Reese.

Here Brown allegedly said Bronny is not ready to be a pro yet. But later issuing a clarification, Brown took to X and stated that LeBron James’ son has all the tools to be successful. The reigning NBA Finals MVP said,  “It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the NBA it reflects greatness and longevity! Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth.”

What did Jaylen Brown allegedly say?

Caught on NBA TV’s sideline cameras, Brown appeared to say to them, “I don’t think Bronny is a pro.” Responding to which  Gondrezick allegedly said, ” I think he’ll be on the G-League team, for sure.” Then Brown further said,  “I don’t think so, I think because of his name, he’ll be on the Lakers.”
