The ninth edition of the Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, which is likely to be held from February 19th to March 9th in 2025. The tournament is finally going to be back after eight years since its last edition in England and Wales in 2017, where Pakistan were crowned champions for the first time.

Former Sri Lankan pacer Chaminda Vaas is among the highest wicket-takers for Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy. The left-arm fast bowler has taken 18 wickets in 16 matches of his Champions Trophy career from 1998 to 2006. He was also the part of the Sri Lanka squad that shared the Champions Trophy with India in 2002.

8. Mervyn Dillon – 19 wickets

The right-arm pacer has finished among leading wicket-takers multiple times during his Champions Trophy stint from 2002 to 2013.
