The main event of the UFC 304 will feature a welterweight title fight, where Edwards will clash against Belal Muhammad. On the other hand, Aspinall will target title defence in the co-main event against Curtis Blaydes. Previous Fights and Head-to-Head Records

Leon Edwards v Belal Muhammad

Leon Edwards is undoubtedly one of the best welterweight fighters in the world. The 32-year-old will head in UFC 304 for his third title defence after he won in 2022, and is currently on a 13-fight unbeaten streak. A slight flaw in his career came in March 2021 when he encountered Muhammad which ended in a no-contest because of an accidental eye poke. The forthcoming fight will be a rematch of their last fight. Muhammad has won five consecutive fights since then. While their previous meeting didn’t last long, it did seem like Edwards dominated his counterpart throughout the bout. Considering this, we think he is the favourite in the upcoming fight.

Tom Aspinall v Curtis Blaydes

Tom Aspinall is all set to defend his interim title against a challenger rather than clashing for the undisputed title. His only loss in the UFC came to Blaydes due to a knee injury in the first round, where the referee had to step in to stop the fight. Curtis Blaydes, on the other hand, possesses an excellent record in the UFC but has faced several big hitters. Blaydes has recorded a win over Aspinall but that only happened because Aspinall recorded a terrible injury within 15 seconds of the first fight in July 2022.

Since then, Aspinall won two first-round KOs, including his title triumph in November 2023. Currently, he has a record of 14 wins and three defeats. Blaydes, on the other hand, has 18 wins, four losses and one no-contest in 23 fights. Aspinall, the reigning champion is favourite in the co-main event.

Bobby Green v Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett found himself in hot waters during recent fights. Recently, after his impressive submission win over Jordan Leavitt, he recorded a controversial win over Gordon before taking down Tony Ferguson. Now, he stands a good chance to register a win over a ranked rival. Bobby Green, on the flip side, is not an easy rival. The number 15 ranked fighter possesses boxing skills giving him an edge.
