Babar Azam engages in hilarious banter with Mohd. Rizwan ahead of Bangladesh series

Pakistan batter Babar Azam was seen enjoying his time ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh as he engaged in hilarious banter with teammate Mohammad Rizwan in the team’s practice session. Azam will be eyeing to make a return to form after a disappointing T20 World Cup, many questions have been raised about his future.

Hence the upcoming series against Bangladesh will be crucial for the top-order batter. Pakistan will take on the Bangla Tigers in two Test matches which kick off on August 21 in Rawalpindi. The next five-day fixture will take place in Karachi.

Ahead of the series, the right-handed batter was seen hitting Rizwan on his back hilariously as he took a catch. Babar then ran towards Abrar Ahmed and tried to block the spinner as he tried to catch the ball.

Coming back to criticisms towards Babar Azam, disgraced ex-Pakistan captain Salman Butt spoke about the top-order batter knows how to come back after a poor run of form. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Butt said,  “Yes, absolutely. Look, personally, as a player who has been consistently scoring runs, and considering that he hasn’t had a big innings in a while, and with questions around his captaincy, there is definitely pressure on him. 

“But who better to handle pressure than him? This player has delivered such excellent performances, so he knows well how to make a comeback into form,” he continued.
