Independence Day Special: 78 Glorious moments in Indian sports after Independence in pictures and videos

Sports were never a priority for an India, which got its freedom from the reigns of British and their 200-year-long rule. Let alone of priority, but India never even had the proper infrastructure required to support sports and those who wish to pursue them.
