Entity Releases its BGMI Roster

On Friday, August 16, 2024, Entity Gaming shocked the esports community by bidding farewell to its BGMI roster, which included one of India’s best IGLs, Saumya “Saumraj” Raj, along with three assaulters: Shiven “Troye” Pawar, Harsh “Aquanox” Rao, and Divyansh “Raiden.” The team had recently performed exceptionally well in BGMS Season 3, missing the trophy by just 2 points.

Entity Gaming has an outstanding history in BGMI, with legendary players like Jonathan, Zgod, Clutchgod, Ghatak, and Neyo having been part of the team that is regarded as one of the best rosters ever built in BGMI.

The team has earned approximately $202,240 in winnings from BGMI esports tournaments, with major victories in the PUBG Mobile Club Open – Fall Split: South Asia, iQOO Pro Series 2024, and ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: BGMI.

Recently, the organization also released its entire Dota 2 roster from the Europe region, which included players Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, Volodymyr “Noone” Minenko, Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, Vladislav “Kataomi” Semenov, and Dzmitry “Fishman” Palushchuk. The entire roster has been acquired by Cloud9.

This news is a shocker for esports fans, but it’s not the first time Entity has reportedly paused its esports operations. The Indian club did the same in 2022 before returning last year with a lineup including Saumraj, Secrett, Gamlaboy, and Shifter.

Entity Gaming’s BGMI roster performed exceptionally well in various tournaments leading up to BGMS Season 3. Before the event, key players Pukar and Gamlaboy left the team, but Saumraj successfully led the new lineup. This lineup showed great promise, making it more shocking for fans that the club will miss the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024.

Entity Gaming’s BGMI roster recently delivered outstanding performances in tournaments leading up to BGMS Season 3. Before the season, key players Pukar and Gamlaboy left the team, but Saumraj led the new lineup exceptionally well. This lineup showed great potential, and the club’s decision to miss the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024 has shocked fans who expected the release after the event.

It will be interesting to see where this roster will move for BMPS 2024, as most teams have already finalized their lineups for the season. The players including Saumraj, Troye, Raiden, and Aquanox may join another  invited  team to the event.

Saumraj, one of the best IGLs in India, led the team with skill, while the young guns Troye and Raiden proved themselves in BGMS Season 3 with outstanding performances. Aquanox, known for his amazing clutches in BGMI, is one of the top assaulters in the game. It will be intriguing to see where they go next.
