How much prize money will US Open 2024 champions earn?

The US Open 2024, slated to happen from August 26 to September 8, is one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments, giving the players the opportunity to become a Grand Slam champion. Apart from the glory on the tennis court at the US Open, the players also have the chance to earn a massive paycheck for making it through to the latter stages of the tournament.

For the 2024 edition, the US Open organising committee have raised the total prize money to $75 million, increasing it 15% in comparison to last year. The men’s and women’s singles champions get the exact same prize money at the US Open, which will be $3.6 million, while the runner-up will get $1.8 million.

Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff earned $3 million each after winning the US Open men’s and women’s singles titles in 2023.
