The third season of Legends League Cricket is set to kick off on September 20, and will see a total of 25 matches unfolding among six teams. The last two teams standing tall will clash in the final of the tournament on October 16 at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium. Indian Capitals had a below average season last year, and in 2024, they will aim to improve their performance and end the campaign with more winnings and better rankings.
The Capitals, under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir, managed to win only one of their five matches. This year before the auction, the side retained names like Ashley Nurse and Ben Dunk. The LCC 2024 auction that took place on August 29 in New Delhi, the Capitals bought several names from a pool of 200 national and international players with their purse of INR 8 crore.
