CS2 ESL Pro League Season 20 Schedule & Format
Group Stage:
The tournament began with a group stage, featuring four groups of eight teams each. The format is a triple-elimination, meaning teams have multiple chances before being knocked out. All matches in this stage will be best-of-three (Bo3). The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, with the group winners moving directly to the quarterfinals, runners-up to the Round of 12, and third and fourth-place teams to the Round of 16, with the latter entering as lower seeds.
Playoffs:
The playoffs follow a single-elimination bracket, where teams are eliminated after one loss. All matches, except for the Grand Final, are best-of-three (Bo3). The Grand Final is a best-of-five (Bo5) to determine the ultimate champion.
