The two bronze medals I won at the Paris 2024 Olympics belong to India: Manu Bhaker

Just a day ago, the 22-year-old hit back at the trolls on her official X account by saying, “The two bronze medals I won at the Paris 2024 Olympics belong to India. Whenever I am invited for any event and asked to show these medals, I do it with pride. This is my way of sharing my beautiful journey.”  “ I will keep bringing my medals to events,” she said to the media in one of her recent interviews, showing her dedication to inspiring others with her achievements.

In a post on X from earlier today, Bhaker reflected on her journey, saying, “I was 14 when I started my journey in shooting. Never had I imagined I would reach this far. Once you start something, make sure you do everything possible to chase your dreams relentlessly, no matter how tough it gets. Stay focused, stay driven, and let your passion fuel your journey. Every small step forward brings you closer to greatness.  Keep going, you’re capable of much more than you imagine! And, yes, my dream of winning Olympic gold medals continues.”

During her recent interview at the NDTV Yuva Conclave,  Manu  talked about her journey and the fan support she received after winning medals. When asked about her aspirations beyond shooting, she said, “The love of my life is shooting, and I want to shoot as long as possible and win as many medals for India as possible.”  Bhaker also discussed how she handles her anger with positive energy, saying, “I also get angry. But I have learned to channel my anger into something positive. That is really important for a sportsperson.”

In a world where social media can be very negative, Manu’s strong replies remind us of the pride and strength that athletes show when representing their country.
