Krafton to develop Palworld Mobile game

In an exciting development for gamers, Palworld Mobile is officially confirmed with Pocketpair joining hands with Krafton for development. Krafton, the South Korean publisher behind the global sensation PUBG Mobile, has signed a deal with Japanese developer Pocketpair to bring Palworld to mobile. According to their announcement, PUBG Studios, a part of Krafton, will handle the development. The team plans to adapt the main features of Palworld, like exploring the open world, breeding creatures, and survival gameplay, for mobile devices. Palworld Mobile deal between Pocket Pair and Krafton

On 2nd October 2024 Krafton, led by CEO Chang-han Kim, has officially secured the global licensing rights for the popular game Palworld through an agreement with Japanese developer Pocketpair, Inc. This deal will bring Palworld to the mobile platform.

Known for their popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile Krafton will handle the development of the Palworld. The studio plans to carefully adapt the original’s core gameplay elements to fit mobile devices. 

Originally launched on Steam and Xbox in early access on January 19, Palworld is an open-world survival game with monster breeding and crafting mechanics. Players can collect over 100 unique creatures called ‘Pals,’ which can be used for combat, building, farming, and more. The game was later released on PlayStation 5 globally on September 25.

Since its launch, Palworld has been a massive hit, selling over 15 million copies on Steam within the first month, attracting 10 million players on Xbox. It also hits a peak of 2.1 million concurrent users on Steam, making it the third-highest in the platform’s history.

Now with the Palworld Mobile announcement fans are excited to play this monster-cacting survival game on their mobile devices. Krafton’s move to bring Palworld to mobile will extend its reach even further.
