Terence Crawford, the American boxing star, who holds WBA and WBO interim light middleweight titles, has seemingly agreed to a $200 million two-fight deal with Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor. In one of his recent videos on social media, Crawford did a couple U-turn on his stance to not fight McGregor inside the octagon and boxing ring by calling him out, to which the Irishman sounded excited to get the ball rolling in his response on Instagram.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Conor McGregor had revealed in a livestream that Terence Crawford rejected the chance of taking him on in two separate fights in two different sports, especially since he didn’t have a background in MMA unlike the Irishman. Despite that, when “The Notorious” floated the idea on Instagram about these two fights worth $200 million, half the sum of money each for a boxing match and an MMA bout, Crawford responded to him with the word, “Tempted.”
Conor, getting back on the mat! Stay tuned, baby! Stay tuned: Terence Crawford
Following that, Terence Crawford recently released a video of himself on social media, seemingly declaring his interest in taking on Conor McGregor inside the octagon, to set-up a mouthwatering crossover fight in the process. In the short clip, Crawford could be seen practising on the mat, and he went on to call out McGregor and said, “Getting back on the mat! Ay, Conor, getting back on the mat! Stay tuned, baby! Stay tuned.”

After the video of “Hunter” went viral on social media, Conor McGregor took to his official Instagram to respond to it in a story, where he wrote, “Is this you accepting the fights now, my brother Terrence! MMA is Saudi for Riyadh season. Followed then by a boxing bout! Tremendous Terrence, well done. I ACCEPT! @turkialalshikh ITS ON BABY RIYADH SEASON WITH THE NEW BRUCE LEE, CONOR MAC G. And boxing’s pound for pound number 1 tremendous Terence C! JUST WOW! What a spectacle! You’ve never seen these moves Turki. I am a master martial artist. I am the maestro. Let’s go. I will show.”
Since Terence Crawford is training to step inside the octagon for the first-time in his career, it is highly likely that a MMA fight between him and Conor McGregor becomes official down the round.
