He was joined by some social media content creators, who are officially creating content for the franchise during the ongoing season.

In one of the videos, Gill was spotted with a football at his feet, while others tried to snatch it away from him. The GT captain posted the video on his social media, and needless to say, it became viral in no time. The video also showcases a person gearing up to challenge Gill, who looks unbothered and calmly baffles his opponent with his smooth footwork, and pushes the ball away from the line. Not only this, but the video also showcases several other moves, leaving the internet amused and laughing at the same time.

The latest reaction came from the official handle of Premier League India, as they reposted the video on their social media handles. Not only this, but they also accompanied it with a funny caption saying, “Haters will say this is fake Shubman Gill.” 

Speaking of his IPL 2024 campaign, the young opener shouldered the responsibility of the captain of the team as their previous captain Hardik Pandya moved to Mumbai Indians. The 24-year-old played his 100th match of his IPL career, as the 2022 winners locked horns against Delhi Capitals. The batter has scored a total of 3,094 runs in his 100 games, including three centuries and 20 fifties.
