More than 60 former players of the Phoenix Suns were invited to the game, who were highlighted individually by the franchise before the Ring of Honor ceremony began. Some of the names who received the special watch include Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Kevin Johnson, Paul Westphal, Walter Davis, and Amar’e Stoudemire.

Charles Barkley spoke to the crowd at Footprint Center after getting the prestigious award and said, “I just want to say thank you to Mat [Ishbia] and the entire Phoenix Suns organisation. You guys are the best, y’ all are the best. And I am saying this the hundred times, I ain’t never leaving Arizona until I am dead.”

After the franchise legends ended their speech, the Phoenix Suns officially unveiled the permanent banners of the Ring of Honor award recipients, atop the rafters at the Footprint Center. They also managed to brush aside the Utah Jazz with a margin of 126-104 later in the evening, to register their first home win of the season.
