Virat Kohli superfan IShowSpeed visited India to watch his favourite batsman play against their arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 on October 14. While Kohli was unable to make an impact, Rohit Sharma ran riot with his 86-off-63 knock, and the American YouTuber cheered for the Indian skipper after watching him bat. In a recent video, Speed responded to s8ulesports streamer Payal Gaming’s query about Rohit Sharma.

Team India restricted Pakistan to 191 runs in their ODI World Cup clash and went on to win the game by seven wickets with 117 balls remaining. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma smashed six fours and sixes each during his 86-run knock, however, the 36-year-old lost his wicket when India were just 35 runs away from the victory. Indian star batter Virat Kohli failed to make an impact in the match as he managed to score 16 runs off 18 balls with three fours.

During the match, Speed, who mainly came to India to watch Virat Kohli bat, was spotted cheering for Rohit Sharma during the Indian skipper’s spectacular inning against Pakistan.

During his live stream with Indian streamer Payal Gaming, the s8ulesports streamer asked the American YouTuber, “Do you know Rohit Sharma?” Speed responded with excitement and said, “Yes Rohit, Rohit. No. 45.” However, the Indian streamer couldn’t understand the jersey number link as she was heard saying, “I don’t know what is 45.” Later she clarified, “I’m talking about the cricketer.”

Speed, who recently became a fan of Rohit, said, “Yeah, No.45. Yes Rohit.” Payal quickly responded with a “yes” as the American was heard saying, “You don’t know sh*t about cricket.”

Talking about the CWC 2023, Team India and New Zealand are the only two teams in the tournament who are yet to lose a game, and both teams will next face each other on Sunday, October 22 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala with an aim to continue their winning run in the ODI World Cup 2023.
