Pakistan and their fielding – A never ending love story: Twitter reacts as Usama Mir drops David Warner’s easy catch

Australia and Pakistan are currently squaring off against each other in their fourth match of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday. The match brought mouth-watering action from the beginning as the Men in Green continued their fielding woes after spinner Usama Mir dropped dangerous David Warner’s catch in the fifth over.

Pakistan won the toss and invited Australia to bat first as Shaheen Shah Afridi kicked off the bowling attack. The 1992 World Cup winners took the DRS on the first ball of the match as Afridi and the team thought he hit Warner’s pad first, however, Pakistan lost their review as the ball hit the bat first.

On the third ball of the fifth over, which was being bowled by Shaheen Afridi, Warner went for a pull shot but the ball went off the top edge. Usama Mir, who is making his World Cup debut against Australia, dropped a sitter that drew several reactions on social media.
