In a video doing rounds on social media, the 36-year-old Aussie could be seen playing right-handed shots against spinners in the practice session. Warner’s shots looked in complete control despite a change in the batting stance. Notably, Warner played a few right-handed shots at the India vs Australia bilateral series played before the World Cup 2023. However, the cricketer could not make a notable impact as he was dismissed by off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

Speaking of Warner’s game in his side’s last three clashes in the ongoing season of the World Cup, the cricketer failed to hit big and ended up hitting only  41, 13 and 11 against India, South Africa and Sri Lanka, respectively.

Talking of Australia’s campaign in the tournament, the five-time champions lost their first two clashes against the 2023 hosts and South Africa. However, the Pat Cummins side bounced back in the ICC event and defeated Sri Lanka by a notable margin of five wickets.
