WATCH: Haris Rauf pulls off stunning one-handed diving catch against South Africa in CWC 2023

Pakistan’s Haris Rauf pulled off a magical one-handed catch to dismiss South Africa’s Lungi Nigidi in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Defending a 271-run target, Pakistani bowlers managed to pick up wickets at regular intervals but a resilient Aiden Markram kept the Proteas in the game with some incredible stroke play.

But as the South African vice-captain got out at 91, the Men in Green rocked up with a few key wickets. But in the 46th over, Haris Rauf reduced South Africa to nine with his stunning catch. Rauf sent out a full delivery which took Ngidi’s edge and scattered away. Here the Pakistani pacer put in a full-stretch dive and completed an incredible one-handed catch.

Unfortunately for Pakistan, Haris Rauf’s heroics were not as Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi held their own and finished off the game in the 48th over.  Shamsi was named the Player of the Match award for his spell of 4-60.
