WATCH: Nashville Predators honour Matthew Perry in NHL match against Maple Leafs

The world was witness of the shocking passing away of Matthew Perry, popularly known for his role as ‘Chandler Bing’ in one of the most loved and watched show – Friends. While the actor might not live now, but his sudden death and last post has raised a lot of eyebrows. The 54-year-old later actor, who was also a regular in the NHL matches was also honoured by the teams in the match between Nashville Predators and Maple Leafs.

The organist at the Bridgestone Arena during the match between Predators and Leafs paid tribute to the later actor by playing the F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme song “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandts.

Talking of the match, Roman Josi scored at 2:13 of overtime as the Nashville Predators beat Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 on Saturday night. While Ryan O’Reilly scored two power-play goals, Juuse Saros made 33 saves for the winning side. Luke Evangellista and Filip Sorsberg also had two assists each in the match.

While the Leafs will play Los Angeles Kings at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on November 1, the Predators will take on Canucks at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on the same day.
