WATCH: Suns’ Kevin Durant calls Anthony Edwards his “favorite player to watch” after Playoffs exit

Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves swept Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns out of the 2024 NBA Playoffs after winning Game 4 on Sunday in the Western Conference Round 1. After their premature exit from the Playoffs, Kevin Durant was all praise for the 22-year-old Wolves guard, calling him his “favorite player”.

Despite Devin Booker racking up 49 points for the Suns, Anthony Edwards’ 40-point game overshadowed the Suns’ guard’s performance as Minnesota became the first team to qualify for the Conference semi-finals in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

After their 4-0 Round 1 exit, Suns’ Kevin Durant heaped praise on Anthony Edwards, claiming that he will be following the Wolves guard for the rest of his life. The two-time NBA champion said, “So impressed with Ant. My favorite player to watch. Just grown so much since he came into the league. He’s 22. His love for the game, he shines bright, and that’s one of the reasons I like him the most, it’s because he loves basketball. He’s grateful to be in this position, he’s taken advantage of every opportunity he’s got.”
