Australia recorded the highest-ever win by runs in Cricket World Cup history on Wednesday, October 25 as they beat the Netherlands by 309 runs. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the side posted 399 on the board, courtesy Maxwell’s fastest hundred in World Cup history. The Aussie bowlers also did their part as they bundled out the Dutch at 90 in 21 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan returns to Bangladesh for training with personal mentor

Bangladesh skipper, Shakib Al Hasan has returned to his home country as the rest of the team travelled to Kolkata ahead of their matches against Netherlands and Pakistan on October 28 and 31, respectively. However, the veteran will join the side on October 27.

Perth Scorchers registered a comfortable win over Hobart Hurricanes at the W.A.C.A Ground in Perth by seven wickets. After opting to bat first, the Hurricanes posted 158 in their 20 overs which the Sophie Devine-led side chased comfortably with nine balls remaining.
